I'm a big fan of Butch's playing and was lucky to see him play live a couple of times several years ago - once at the Station Inn during one of Roland's Monroe tribute nights and once in Memphis with the mandolin orchestra. I'll always regret never making it to one of Butch's workshops. Sad to lose such a great talent.
