I just checked out the NBB website, seems there have been some good changes since I looked about 6 months ago. Now, Sir Tater has his own nice page, a great long article, and several photos, the whole site is better organised and there are lots of good photos, and information.
Check it out. http://nashvillebluegrassband.net/mikecompton.html Maybe it has been there a while, not sure but worth having a look, the first one I went to, via google search was to the NBB booking agent..the link above I found while looking for Hubert Davis and the Season Travelers, one of the early bands the Tater was in. I was wondering if there are CD's to buy of this early Nashville based band. Does anyone know anything about this band. Maybe the Tater could tell us about it.
