Well, I've got Mandonator #2 up and running... and I invite you to
have a look and listen at my little web page.
http://tophergayle.com/pages/Mandonator/index.html

The top, back, sides and neck are mahogany, the fingerboard is ebony,
and the binding is camatillo rosewood. The instrument has not yet
been varnished. It'll darken some when I get that done. It's got 5-
strings EADGC and the scale is 14.3 inches. It's got a single cutaway,
and a traditional f-hole. It features a Beard Spider bridge and cone.

The tone is a little brighter than my old 1920's Dobro-based
Mandonator, but I like it just fine, especially in ensemble playing,
where the darkness of the old instrument is lost in the mix.

Please let me know what you think!
