So, I travel with my band half the month and the other half I'm a stay- at-home dad. When I'm on the road, my 22-month-old son often tells his mama, "Call Papa, call Papa." And they'll call me and I'll talk to him on the phone, as best I can understand him.
Sometimes he'll get confused and tell me "Call Papa." I'll say, "But I'm right here, son. Who do you want to call?" And he'll say "Mama" or "Nana." So the other day at the grocery store he says, "Call Papa, call Papa." And I say, "But I'm right here. Who do you want to call?" And he says, "Call other Papa." "Call other Papa?" I ask. "Who's your other papa?" And my 22-month-old son says, "Mike Compton. Mike Compton plays the mando!" Ha! Perhaps I need to start playing less Stomp and more of my bands' discs for the boy. Thanks for a wonderful album, Mike. It's loved by the whole family. Apparantly, the little one loves it about as much as his old man. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Taterbugmando" group.
