Karen, Tell him you like the neck on your MT. He will probably be able to get his hands on one. The MT has a radiused fretboard and measures 1 1/8" at the nut unless you got one of their wide neck models. I haven't played one for awhile, but I remember it being a slightly rounded V shape.
