So me and two pickin' buddies have decided to put together a formal
group. They are both in a bluegrass band but also want to do
something a little more laid back. Only one of them sings, I sure
can't, so the vast majority of what we'll play will be instrumentals.
Heavy on the fiddle tunes, some Monroe tunes, maybe some newgrassy
stuff, and some banjo numbers. Kinda of an old timey string band feel
to it

The trio will consist of my buddies on an F5 mandolin and Scruggs-
style banjo, and I'll be holding down the rhythm duties on guitar and
playing some mandolin on my oval hole. We're gonna work up a few
mando duets for this endeavor.

But we need a name. Of course the Three Pickers was already done and
those are mighty big shoes to fill. I thought Chambergrass sounded
good but they aren't crazy about it. Y'all have any ideas?

Shaun
