Ran sound for the Zuni Mountain Stupa consecration Saturday. Heard some incredible Tibetan musicians playing double coursed stringed instruments and a Tibetan bowed instrument. Beautiful melodies. Lots of ceremony and dances too. I can't believe my camera batteries died and I'd forgotten my extras.
Got a paying gig out in the woods this afternoon. Yay! I hope the rain waits till we're done. Will play at a CD release 9/26 backing up a songwriter on his originals. I've been part of the house band backing up some folks who have played at an outdoor venue near my place this summer. That's been a lot of fun.
