Might I also suggest www.bandcamp.com as a way to distribute the album and generate $. They have you upload uncompressed 16/44.1 wav/aif files and offer a number of different download formats for your customers so they can get higher quality downloads if they want them. It's also free--the only fees are what paypal takes out when you sell a download. Check it out.
