Ljt, Sorry to hear this news. I think, based on hearing other people's experiences playing at such personal events, that it is best to play something that you are familiar with at least a little because of the emotional strain that presents itself when the music begins. I do have a copy of the Sacred Harp hymnal here if there's anything in there that you'd like. I can easily jot down the dots for you, but I as I am not familiar with a lot of the music in it, you'd probably have to know which one to point me to. I know that "Wonderous Love" is a good one and seems like brother Don Grieser showed me a good one there, but my brain has filed the title away in a dark hallway where I can't access it.
