ok, I would really like to read some articulate opinions about thickness (of
picks of course). What style do you play and why do you choose the pick you
choose? I have absolutely no idea about this, and just ordered a Wegen when
I started playing until people told me it was worn out. Then starting with a
new one did sound better. I am pretty much committed to either beating hard
with tremolo and downstrokes or getting fiddle tunes to be funky. Or not.
What's the difference between a thick pick and a massively thick pick? Why?
Who? What the?

All this is in the details. let's hear some of them, guys. If thicker is
better, why can't I just play with a bevelled bit of roof slate? Oh, and
while you're at it, let's hear about pick angle too. I'm fed up with
instinct, I want opinion and knowledge. Or not.
Best
Robin
