Hey folks: I'm looking to start a side project and I'd like to find one or two like-minded people to work with. I realize this sort of message in a bottle is a long shot but I gotta start somewhere.
I'm hoping to find some folks as driven and passionate about old-time, old-school bluegrass, old blues...you know, the stuff we come to TB to learn...as I am. Yes, I already have a band but those folks are definitely not in it up to their necks as I am--they've got day jobs, kids, etc. So I hope to put something together that's more focused on what I love and what I do best. I like to work, arrange, write music, perform, get gigs, all that sort of stuff. I'd like to find someone who wants to do it as much as I do and I think the rest of it (the instrumentation, the set list, the time and/or distance involved) will take care of itself.
