One of the highlights of this year's fiddle camp was Justin and his late
night jamming partner, Gene Gimble. Every night after everything was done,
the two of them, and anyone else wanting to crack that circle, sat knee to
knee and played swing tune after swing tune. Gene was game to play as long
as anyone would sit with him. I hope that the joy of music and life are as
pervasive in me at that age as it still is for him.
