Well it's got strings but it's ain't a mando....I got myself a used
Collings 2004 OM1A acoustic guitar (as side benefit  it has the K&K
Western mini pick-up installed)

I'm over the moon with this guitar......really the nicest guitar I've
ever owned....Adirondack top and mahagony back and sides 1 3/4 nut

I'm lucky enough to be pretty much spoilt in the mando department but
my acoustic guitar arsenal was lagging way behind the mandos before
this

I figured I was doing the family a favor shopping for myself..... now
they don't have to shop for me ;)
