Me again ... just two days on the list and already a pest! But five minutes
ago I learned about the following extremely remarkable event at Harvard
University this Saturday, and felt I should post it for those who might be able
to get to the Boston area:
"FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN" -- a daylong symposium and performance event
celebrating Bluegrass, an original American form. "Fire on the Mountain" will
feature distinguished blue grass scholars and Grammy-Award winning performers
in musical demonstrations, discussion of Bluegrass' cultural roots, and more.
Among the participants will be Sam Bush, Allison Brown, Bobby Hicks, Lynn
Dudenhostel, and, speak of the Devil, Jack Tottle ...
