Just thought I would give the independent musicians here a heads up about this new offering from Google. Apparently, Google is offering a share of ad revenue for independent musicians who upload content to Youtube. I assume it would be along the lines of views=money, but I suppose you would need to read the fine print for yourselves to see for certain. At any rate, it would be great for those out there who have a ton subscribing to their videos (think about guys like TroubleClef). I know there are a number of independent musicians on the list, so I just wanted to share it. An interesting approach, and the recording industry depserately needs a new model in the digital age.
