Down here in Tater's neck of the woods for Easter weekend. Saw Bobby Osbourne, The McCoury's, The Whites, and Vince Gill and the Timejumpers at the Opry on Friday night. Had a helluva meal at Monell's in Germantown last night. It'd be easy to acquire a weight problem at that place. Ate some biscuits at the Loveless cafe this Easter Morning. Tasty. Got to play some 1915 and 1920's H4 mandolas at Gruhn's yesterday. Real lonesome sounding instruments. The younger one has a beautiful one-piece birds-eye back. My brother-in - law had a hard time swallowing the $8,500 price tag on them but he doesn't have the mando illness...I've been witness to some rather garish cowboy outfits down here. Not sure if they are the locals or the tourists. More Nashvegas style fun planned today...Take care all, John
