Yes Sir, those guys do cover a lot of mandolin ground between them,
but i think for me thats the thing, i have always tried to approach
the mandolin as an instrument in and of itself rather than as a means
to play any particular genre ( i remember once talking to a bass
player who was convinced that you could only play folk/trad tunes on
the mandolin, an odd notion for me, but i could see where he was
coming from ). For me, each one of those players opened a different
area of possibility for the mandolin, they presented me with different
sounds and approaches that just reinforced my belief of the mandolin
as a versatile and expressive instrument.

I just had a perusal of your videos, you sure know how to drive those
fiddle tunes along, and i do like the cut of Mc Mule, from the feel of
the music, i'd imagine you guys must have a blast playing together...
my toes do be tapping and i have a grin on my face, thats a fine
reccomendation for any music.
