Also, my wife has recently taken up guitar. I don't know if anyone on the list has a significant other that is also a musician, but I would recommend this a 100 times over. She and I have had a fine time playing every afternoon, and it surely beats the hell out of couch or internet surfing. It seemed like it was just a matter of her learning the chords to one song and then her lightbulb came on.
