Having raced triathlon and other endurance sports since 1992 and playing
music all my life, I can assure you, they do NOT lend themselves to
compatibility.  Mostly it makes for really good stories about how many miles
into your Sunday morning long run it took to actually wake up and realize
you did or did not get the right pair of shoes on that morning.  Or whether
or not you actually put water in that bottle you've been carrying for the
last 5 miles... empty.

But, its always fun.  :)
