I had a quick chat with Stuart about the topic of moving from CVS to
Subversion today.

There are some minor changes to some of the Taverna 2 code in CVS, (in
this particular case related to the biomoby activity) that have not
yet been merged into Subversion. These can be found in CVS by diffing
between the global tag svnmove-2009-02-03 and HEAD.

We decided that we'll continue to use CVS for Taverna 1, while Taverna
2 will have to move to Subversion. To avoid confusion we will then
"delete" the t2* modules (in CVS-terms this simply means all the
directories will be empty), although of course the history would still
be there in the CVS Attic.

Before doing this we will sync/merge with Subversion a last time and
delete the Taverna 2 modules. This would probably also include moving
the t2 Platform branch to SVN.

So we'll leave the "legacy" like Taverna 1 and it's plugins in CVS, as
we'll mainly be doing maintenance work on that code we think there's
not really that big need to move it.

I'm not sure exactly when we'll go ahead with this, we'll give the
list a notice first of course (and make sure everyone who has signed
the contribution agreements have write-access in SVN), so I guess in
beginning of April. I also prefer to get the code documentation up to
date first.
