Hello everybody, As Stian has mentioned before, we are moving our Taverna 2 code repository from the cvs repository on sourceforge to the svn repository on googlecode.
The code that will move will be the Taverna 2 and Taverna Platform modules. The current plan is to leave the other modules, primarily Taverna 1, on sourceforge. We now have some details of the timeline: 1) Before 17th April you must commit any changes that you want to keep to the Taverna 2 or Taverna Platform modules. If you do not have write access then please contact me ([email protected]) or Stian ([email protected]). 2) On 17th April write access will be removed from all Taverna 2 modules (including the Taverna Platform ones) in the cvs repository. 3) Between 17th April and 1st May, the code will be merged. During this period, the contents of the Taverna 2 modules will be "deleted" from the cvs repository. 4) On 5th May, the svn repository will be opened for writing. Documentation on how to use the repository will be available then (if not earlier). If you wish to have write access to the svn repository, then you need to sign a contributor's license agreement (http://www.mygrid.org.uk/tools/developer-information/contributing-to-taverna/). You do not need to sign a CLA to have read access to the svn repository, to use Taverna or to leverage Taverna in your own applications.
