There is a list of (some of) the Taverna 2.0 extension points at

but it is not fully documented.  I agree that a list would be extremely 
useful.

It would help a lot (I think) if the structure for adding a new service 
type was documented.  I tried to put something up on the wiki at 
http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/wiki/display/developer/Activity+structure+in+Taverna+2+-+draft+version
but it seemed to generate more heat than light :-(
