Hello,

I found a bug in the Rshell processor for taverna 2 (Taverna 2.1
snapshot, distributed at the Taverna course in Amsterdam today). The
processor works fine as long as it has no input ports (output ports are
no problem). (So, actually, it is not working at all ;) ) I get an
exception:

java.lang.NullPointerException
net.sf.taverna.t2.reference.impl.ReferenceServiceImpl.renderIdentifier(R
eferenceServiceImpl.java:353)
net.sf.taverna.t2.activities.rshell.RshellActivity$1.run(RshellActivity.
java:117)
java.lang.Thread.run(unknown file)

I believe it is a problem with the data reference used by taverna when
it is passed to the Rshell processor.

Stian, Stuart, I had a talk with Katy about the new Rshell version for
Taverna 1.7. Maybe it is also possible to integrate this new version of
Rshell I have designed, because it supports up to and including R 2.9
and has syntax highlighting. Is there a tutorial how to translate a
taverna plugin into a taverna 2 plugin? Then I could translate the code
myself.

Best wishes,

Ingo
