I am able to reproduce this in 1.7.2. Reported as http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/issues/browse/TAV-780 - as it works in Taverna 2.1 it is probably not going to be investigated, though. I initially thought it could be related to http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/issues/browse/T2-587 - but the web service you report only has a single port type. I tested in Taverna 2.0, which also gives duplicates, indicating that there might still be a link with T2-587.
