Hi all, Just to let you know that we have (finally) updated the Taverna 2 Developers documentation (which can be found at http://www.taverna.org.uk/developers/).
First and foremost, there is now detailed documentation (in the form of tutorials) on extending Taverna by developing two most common plugin types: for service discovery and service invocation (thanks to Stian). We will be adding more plugin tutorials soon. Check out http://www.taverna.org.uk/developers/taverna-2-x/plugin-extensions/. Secondly, we have added a section under Taverna 2 Developers documentation on work in progress: http://www.taverna.org.uk/developers/taverna-2-x/work-in-progress/. There you can find information about stuff that's currently cooking: * Scufl2 model and language specification * REST support in Taverna 2 * Taverna 2 Server * Taverna 2 in portals Finally, if you haven't already seen it, there is a section of the Taverna Web site with technical papers on Taverna architecture: http://www.taverna.org.uk/developers/taverna-2-x/papers/. There you can find the nitty gritty details of the Taverna 2 architecture, workflow processing model, dispatch stack, parallelism and pipelining.
