On a different issue, as to including the plugin in the Taverna plugin site (Directly installable from within Taverna), we're awaiting some clarification from David on these points: * Which organisation is maintaining the plugin? * What license is the plugin under? * If open source, where is the source code for the plugin? If the maintainer is myGrid (through the developer contribution agreement), then we would expect the sourcecode to be at http://taverna.googlecode.com/svn/ and preferably under a LGPL license. If it is SADI or someone else maintaining the code, then of course you can put the source code where you want. We should then need to include the license in the plugin description. We would also then kindly ask for the plugin to use a group ID and package name that differs from net.sf.taverna, as that would indicate it to be part of myGrid-maintained software. It would be vital to clear this at an early stage, as workflows built using the plugin would include the existing group and package name. -- Stian Soiland-Reyes, myGrid team School of Computer Science The University of Manchester ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ taverna-hackers mailing list [email protected] Web site: http://www.taverna.org.uk Mailing lists: http://www.taverna.org.uk/about/contact-us/ Developers Guide: http://www.taverna.org.uk/developers/
