You would need to use mvn deploy:deploy-file [1] to deploy that JAR to the Maven repository - the deploy plugin can make the POM for that JAR for you, but this will only work if the JAR itself does not depend on anything. If it does, you will have to manually make a POM before deploying, and then use -DpomFile instead of -DgeneratePom
