Hi,

We had an quick meeting amongst the Taverna developers in Manchester
where I briefed about the status about SCUFL2 - the "next generation"
Taverna workflow format, which will be the basis for Taverna 3 and the
next version of the Taverna Platform.

The status is that SCUFL2 is approaching the 0.5 milestone, which will
be used by a technical preview of the Platform and the next generation
Taverna Workbench by April.

There are still some essential bits remaining for 0.5 version of the
SCUFL2 API which hopefully will be finished in the following weeks -
after that we would also love to have anyone of you to try the toolkit
for say analysing myExperiment workflows, generating workflows from
other formats, creating linked open data workflows, etc.
