Do you mean execution on a Condor cluster?

If you mean running a Taverna Server on a node in a cluster, I don't
know any specific plans for that.

If you mean running services within a workflow on a cluster, then we
have had discussions about creating a new external tool invocation
mechanism. There has been no work done on it though.

There are issues about whether to submit a single tool invocation to the
cluster, or lots of them and so make better use of the cluster's job
management.

In many workflows, most of the execution happens "elsewhere" anyway e.g.
on the machine where the WSDL service runs or where the R server is running.

Taverna 3, I have no date for. 2.3 should have a release candidate in
April and a proper release in May.

The best paper is "Taverna Reloaded" which was given at SSDBM 2010. You
can get a copy at

Not at the moment.
