Hello Allen,
Thank you for the video. I saw the demonstration at the recent BioVEL
meeting, and found it very impressive.
Would you be able to give an estimate of the effort it would require to
produce something similar in a different domain, and what kind of skills
you would need?
I am asking this, because I would like to share this video with
end-users who are also the managers of projects where this could be
considered as an approach.
Many thanks!
Marco.

Hello everybody,
I have uploaded a video to youtube showing the interaction service (for
interacting with Taverna in a web browser). The workflow is an
ecological nice modelling workflow developed for the BioVeL project
(http://www.biovel.eu).
The workflow is run from a Ruby/Sinatra portal using the Ruby Gem to
talk to a Taverna 2.4 server. The interactions requested by the workflow
are shown in the browser.
The interaction service uses an Atom feed to send out the notifications
of an interaction request and publishes temporary files in a webdav. It
is currently very much in alpha, but I can send people details of the
plugin site if they want to try it out.
The video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9X6E4PdFcM
I can add some commentary or captions if people want.
Alan
