We are pleased to announce that XworX BIFI Plug-in for Taverna AND XworX
Workbench are both ready for download.
The XworX BIFI Plug-in tries to simplify consuming/running workflows by
providing a user interface for all possible workflow input ports. It allows
user to design/customize user interfaces for workflows and share them
through a repository.
XworX BIFI is also able to generate user interfaces automatically in case
of absence of a user interface definition file. However, for now, we
implemented solutions to pick up the most appropriate user interface
components for WSDL and RShell processor inputs.
You can install XworX BIFI Plug-in by adding the update site “
http://xworx.ait.ac.at/nexus/content/repositories/xworx-bifi/” to your
Taverna. For more information on how to install new plugins, please visit

The XworX Workbench is a standalone application build upon Taverna
Workbench. Besides aforementioned features, XworX offers an Appstore
concept for workflow based analysis area. You can drag&drop workflows =
xtools from XworX Appstore and enjoy a ready-to-run workflow with a
“beautiful (-; user interface”. Moreover, XworX provides advanced data
management features, additional built-in viewers, more importantly another
workflow based workbench experience. You can give it a try at
