In Taverna 2.1 (which is in beta now), it automatically remembers the values you used before. However, it only remembers them for the current run of Taverna i.e. they are forgotten when you exit Taverna. There have been suggestions of extending the "remembering" mechanism to allow for something similar to a history. There's also a proposal to be able to save the input values set and to be able to reload them - you can do something similar to that in Taverna 1.7.1. I don't think that will make it into Taverna 2.1 beta 2 which is due out soon, but it is very high on the list of things to be done.
