As far as I know, Soaplab 2 plugin is still not ready for Taverna 2.X, is that right?

Soaplab2 web services can be deployed with backward compatibility option and then can be used with earlier Soaplab clients such as Soaplab plugin in Taverna. EBI Soaplab web services (for EMBOSS) uses that option and are accessible by most Taverna versions.
