Interesting, in particular as Taverna is not platform-dependent..
perhaps we should investigate if there's a possible database
corruption or something when moving between platforms?


You didn't keep around a copy of the 'broken' .taverna-2.2.0 folder by
any chance?

.taverna-2.2.0 also contains the installed plugins and updates, so if
one of those plugins didn't work or was not fully copied across (say
because of too long folder paths on Windows), then that could explain
the class loader issues.
