Hi to all I had some partition problems in my computer while working with T2.2, basically a frozen system and a final cold reboot.
After, T2.2 started raise errors, like: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class net.sf.taverna.t2.workbench.views.results.processor.ProcessorResultsComponent# or net.sf.taverna.t2.activities.wsdl.xmlsplitter.XMLInputSplitterActivity$1.run(XMLInputSplitterActivity.java:89) Changing the workflow structure, I got error messages related to difference class. In another computer the workflow was ok and everything worked I've googled some of the errors and ended up on the following email thread: *Problem with services (T2.2) on return value* The good news is that the head of the error log has the following like: ERROR 2011-03-02 11:43:04,865 (org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter:78) - Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Failed to create database 't2-database', see the next exception for details.) WARN 2011-03-02 11:43:04,865 (org.hibernate.cfg.SettingsFactory:117) - Could not obtain connection metadata org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Failed to create database 't2-database', see the next exception for details.) The solution for the problem was to delete the /taverna-2.2.0/t2-database IMHO, the t2-database gets corrupted but Taverna continues as usual, and then when the user runs the workflow everything colapses. Probably a better Error catch or some other way to restart the database ?! If necessary I can send the logs (working and non-working) to the developers.
