Mercury? Tell them to upgrade, there's been a lot of bugfixing recently. But Mercury isn't likely to do something with the From: field of your message...

Seems to be not OK really... Here's how Pegasus decodes it:
Fredrik"Bergstrm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"
And TB beta 2:
Fredrik "Bergstrm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"
And when I am replying to your message, I get:
"Fredrik\"Bergstrm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>\"" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
So well, can't say what's the clue indeed... Of course, it's usually much better to use pure ASCII in the From: field. Note, I'm putting myself as "Alexander V. Kiselev" instead of " . ̣":-))

But there *is* one:-) And one another *after* the address. That's why TB when replying to you does this:
"Fredrik\"Bergstrm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>\"" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
It therefore treats *all your address as a whole* as your personal name...
