I'm using The Bat! Version 1.38e
under Windows 98 4.10 Build 1998
and would like to report a bug
The bug description:
Filters have gone... well... strange. I have a set of filters
which have always handled TBUDL and TBBETA subscription
notifications and also monitor the bounce messages. These have
always filtered to to correct folders. Suddenly, since 1.38(ish)
I've been finding the sub/unsub notices in the Bounces folder.
BUT: When I re-filter the Bounces folder using Incoming mail
filters, the sub/unsub notices *then* get moved to the correct
folders. ?!?!?
At least that shows filtering to be misbehaving when run
automatically but working correctly when run from the folder menu.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
Darned if I know how to set up to reproduce it without having my
exact filter set and mail throughput. Suffice to say that the
first filter in my incoming filters is manual, the second and
third handle the subs/unsubs, the fourth and fifth deal with the
bounces and the remaining 91 deal with the rest of my mail.
