Hmmm. I've configured TB! to auto-dial if there's no
pre-existing connection to use and it works fine. However, I don't
allow it to auto-disconnect. This auto-disconnect feature could be the

Hang on a minute. I hope that you don't have RAS configured to
auto-dial and reconnect in the event of a disconnection. If you
disconnect using TB! rather than RAS, NT is likely to be seeing this
as an unplanned disconnection and attempting to reconnect. If you're
using 'auto-dial', 'auto-disconnect' and the 're-dial in event of
disconnection' features in multiple app's it's likely to cause
problems. This is why a problem free system is one operated manually,
i.e, one where the user manually connects and disconnects and also
manually reconnects if a connection drops. If you wish for RAS to
automatically redial, then disable TB!'s auto-disconnect feature. If
you wish for TB! to do things automatically, disable RAS's automated
features.
I do have a problem with Win2K where, if I try to interrupt a
dial-up process or especially, if it's disrupted by an incoming call
or someone picking up an extension, then I'm unable to dial out again
unless I log-off and then back on. This is occasional, annoying, but
unrelated to TB!.
