Please, please, calm down. Yes, 1.42 _BETA_ deletes messages in folders with
"Compress on exit" option set. I am sure Stefan and Max are already working on
the issue. Sometimes such things happen -- that is why beta testing is
in very heavy need for the product. New message base format is a great change and
we should be ready to find rather severe bugs at least in first betas.
Try to check out this option for all your folders or rollback to release
version. I have now two TB! executables - thebat.exe and thebatb.exe,
from release and beta correspondingly. Just makes things safer.
