Actually, Delphi on Linux (KyLix) will provide only that functionality
that Delphi 2 had, years ago. KyLix won't provide source code
compatibility with the Windows version. Instead of this, it will
introduce a new set of components, called CLX on both platforms.

The biggest problem for developers is third-party components won't be
avaiable at that time when KyLix will be released. TB! is based on
many third-party components, for example, one of the important
components is THTML for HTML rendering, ToolBar97 for dockable tool
buttons, TGifImage for GIF display, etc...

I believe we will be able to run TB! correctly under WINE much earlier
than Stefan releases TB! on Linux.
