Hello Nick,
On 18 July 2000 at 21:09:36 GMT -0700 (which was 05:09 where I live)
Nick ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) typed:
NA> Hmmm? Well, I don't know what to say Allie... I copied my password to
NA> the clipboard and know it's there (tested it in a blank message and also
NA> my external text editor), but those right click options are grayed out
NA> for me when I go to input my password in the pop-up box.
Personally I agree with Nick, it shouldn't be possible to cut and
paste passwords especially with the added security of Win2K like
Allie uses.
I just tried it and like Nick says, all the options are greyed out.
Putting the curser in the box and using CTRL-V however gets around
it.
Using CTR-C also copied the password from the box to to clipboard
and then reproduced it in all it's full plain text, easy to read
glory. Surely the ability to do that is a security issue?
