It's RFC822 (as usual), where the allowed characters are all ASCII
characters in the range 32..126 decimal. Note that if you want any
character from the set "()<>@,;:\[]" or SPACE or the quote in your
address, you have to quote it. Eg "words with spaces"@somedomain.org
would be a valid RFC address. But this looks wierd and I'm not sure
if all MTAs and MUAs could handle it...
