You can Set caret position, but cannot determine where it is in the
window - this is the problem :-)
MDP> So the "end position" of the selection gives the caret position.
The end position returned by EM_GetSel is always greater or equal to
the start position...

I know, I know. :-( They will be fixed in the next Beta series. We are
under great pressure now and only the most important problems
(flashing holes) were fixed in this release...
