Wednesday, February 28, 2001, I saw:
>> 1. on http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/beta.html is officially
>> mentioned version 1.51/b1
MDP> That's gone up *since* you downloaded.

;-)

>> 2. this ver. demands SN and other data without warning
MDP> The *real* version of the beta doesn't, but you jumped the gun.

Marku don't you see that this argument is ridiculous: *real/unreal*
versions ... a kind of schisofrenia (I cant' find good word in English).

MDP> Clearly there is.

I disagree :-\ the only difference: announcement is in text/words and
software is software :P

>> 4. 1.51. beta has bug with SN number ... ;-/

MDP> Not so - only the one you downloaded *before* the official announcement.

As above.

MDP> a) I had already said "caveat emptor" (buyer beware) if you download
MDP> before the official announcement.

No - your post was after information [EMAIL PROTECTED]

MDP> b). This isn't the first time that a file has appeared and then been
MDP> replaced by a correct version which has then been officially announced
MDP> (as has happened in this case).

Is it good or bad? :-I
