Hello TBBETA Members!

Just wanted us, or more precisely the developers, to remind of one
BIG downside still existing in TB:

  MAPI support.

I know, TB comes with its own SimpleMAPI handler, and that is the
problem, if you have to rely on Microsoft's MAPI implementation fo
other programs TB will not be invoked as expected. For instance,
  ActiveSync won't work with TB's MAPI DLL - regrettably I have a
WinMob device [and quite like it], so I have to use the full
  featured MS MAPI.

Even with applications allowing me to chose any external mail client
installed I have to jump through hoops. Say, I just did a screen
grab with SnagIi and want to send it via e-mail; I hit the button,
wait a long time until a TB New Message window opens devoid of
anything - no template, no automatically attached screen grab. The
same for IDImager [photo database], for which the developer on my
behest added the option to define an external mail client.

This is more than annoying, it is downright ridiculous and breaking
any sensible work-flow OTHER developers try to cater to.

Could RITLabs, please, adapt TB to MS' own MAPI DLL, provided with
  Windows?

  Thank you!
