Similar problem here since a few builds back, in my case it is MSG I
cannot re-associate. Until this message I thought it was some
deliberately corrupted Registry entry as I first encountered it after
a minor [security] update for Outlook 2007.

Previously I had no trouble re-associating any lost file formats but
with v5beta I get the same error as Rick. I already cleaned out the
Registry, incl. deletion of MSG lines altogether - nothing helped.

As I mentioned in an earlier message I also found TB giving the above
error message for files it IS associated with.
