Hello TBBETA! ===8<==============Original text================== Hi there, You seem to be a good person to be able to verify these little glitches with the Bat 1.52 Beta 7 as I can't seem to get any reply at all from Stef or Max at Ritlabs. And when I tried to use the Bug report form but got returned mail as undeliverable?? Anyway the main problem that I just can't figure out is that when I start The Bat! two of my six accounts will autodial to check mail if I tick the option to check mail on startup even though ALL accounts are set to use the default network setting which definitely has the option to NOT CONNECT for periodical checking!!! The other four accounts work perfectly well, whether the "check for mail at startup" option is checked or not.....!!!!! If I deselect the "check mailbox at startup" option on the two offending accounts all is well - but I would really like them to work properly. The one other thing is that after you have selected to check a mailbox - dialling up, checking and disconnecting, if you press F2 or choose to check the mail again, you get the connection centre with the list of tasks in it, but it just sits there... it won't actually dial unless you press F2 or "check mail" again Regards Steve Harris The Bat 1.52 Beta 7 Win98 SE IE5 ____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? The part about not getting replies by Stefan and Max and the part about the Connection Centre not dialling again I think I could answer (lots of work for RITLabs; tasks not being properly deleted). I tried to at least confirm the main question with my three accounts, but was unable to. I hope someone here can confirm and help.
