We just gave you Opera as an example of a software company that have
developed HTML viwer from scratch by themselves, like Ritlabs did. You can
avoid using Opera but instead use any other modern browser which is not based
on Gecko or MSIE, but I don't know any such example personally.

The Bat! uses "Robin" layout engine. This engine is developed solely by
Ritlabs. We have released Robin in The Bat! v1.32, on 27 April 2000. Versions
up to 1.31 of The Bat! had used the THtmlViewer engine by David Baldwin.
