However, I'm not sure it makes sense to re-filter a virtual folder as it is the result of 'live' filtering. (if only) I suspect you tried that to see if virtual folder would refresh as I have done. I have given up trying to refresh them as nothing seems to do it. A restart would sometimes do it but not lately. They are now more unreliable then ever. I use them to filter out important messages from a stream of logging messages and I've missed a couple because the filtering did not work. I have found the clearing the cache on the source folder will force the virtual folders to update as the cache is refilled.
