Hello all,
a user on the German board (www.batboard.net) reported a problem when
forwarding several mails to the same recipient.
Bug 1) Several mails shall be forwarded as single mails (not as
MIME-attachment) to the same recipient. Selecting several mails in
message list, context menu "Specials", "Alternative Forward", third
option "Adress all messages to the adress(es) below:" has no effect.
The dialog closes, but mails are neither sent nor put into Outbox.
While searching for an alternative way to achieve that goal, we came
across another idea and found further bugs:
Bug 2) Using the following manual filter that is triggered by a
hotkey:

The filter condition is "All messages", filter action is "Forward
message to...).
The filter works in principle, but only forwards mostly 2 messages at a
time, sometimes 3. To make 5 messages being forwarded, the hotkey has to be
pressed
more than once. Afterwards, you have more than the intended 5 messages
in Outbox, there are duplicates you have to sort out.
Bug 3) The method with a manual filter as described in 2) only works
with one batch of messages. If you change the folder after the first
batch and use the hotkey again to forward more messages from another
folder, the selected mails from the second folder are being ignored.
Instead, when you check your Outbox-content, you find more mails from
the first batch (a.k.a. from the first folder) and thus creating even more
duplicates. Plus: The longer you try to find a system that reproduces
these finding, the stranger are the results you get (I don't want to
write every single detail here; that mail is long enough...). In order
to make the Manual-filter-procedure work again (if you want to
call that "work") you have to restart The Bat! before.
Can anyone confirm that behavior?
